Bubble Tea is a popular Taiwanese-based milk tea drink people deeply enjoy and eventually become addicted to. It was first invented in Taiwan in the 1980s. The original drink combining milk and tea together with bubbles aka pearls or boba, which are made from Tapioca, is a combination you never thought would taste amazing and be fun to drink. The National Bubble Tea Day in the United States began at Kung Fu Tea, a tea-based beverage brand headquartered in New York City. They believe “Bubble Tea” is so good that it deserves an entire day dedicated to Bubble Tea. Eventually the desire is fulfilled as the National Bubble Tea Day is annually celebrated around the US on April 30th.
